Today I moved the bookshelves (that previously housed my colour coordinated cookbooks) into b's room to corral his growing collection of things. The bookshelves have been in the kitchen, the back family room, the living room and now b's bedroom.
Next, I need to slowly infiltrate Matthew's mind and convince him that he needs to build some shelves for the now-empty alcove. I did some googling today and I love these shelves:

Later today we (b & I) sorted out all of our gold coins (Australian $1 & $2 are gold - just in case you were thinking we are pirates) to take to the bank for little b. So, b and I went to the shops - the bank was closed because we spent too long messing about at home, so we got our veggies, but I hadn't planned to carry b, the veggies and all the coins and it was all SO heavy.
We had some of our roasted veggies for dinner and now I am going to go and plonk myself on the couch and knit. I am attempting to use a set of double pointed needles to knit in-the-round and the stitches keep jumping (in shame?) off the ends while I'm not watching. Sneaky little snicks they are. Buuuut I did read this no-pattern pattern today that makes sense to me - so that is where I am going to start.
