Actually I think I may have had a little too much coffee this morning and am amusing myself too much with the image of me backstabbing my Martha. I'm off to have a look at the new Martha Stewart craft items that are being stocked at Spotlight. In a time long ago I used to wait wait wait for the next edition of Martha Stewart Living to hit the shelves and I couldn't get home quickly enough to read it. I still have most of my old issues, but I haven't bought her mag for ages. My husband's dad once picked up an old issue and called it gauche. I was most offended at the time, but now am saddened to admit that I feel the same now too. Three (?) years ago I spend NYE at a friend's and in the morning she and her sleepy guests let me watch Martha on her foxtel. We had foxtel put in two weeks ago and I still haven't managed to make it to see Martha on any of her daily appearances.
I'm still going to check out her crafts line today.
My next long lost friend is Donna Hay. I long ago tired of the white on white photography that the magazine puts out month after month. Donna Hay (the corporation or the individual I do not know) has opened a homewares shop in Sydney and after seeing these photographs I would love to go for a wee perusal:

PS Have just got back from checking out Martha crafts line and it's limited in range and priced at more than the exchange rate and overseas shipping combined.
Oh! I like Donna Hay. I can not believe that you and Martha are still not back together again. It is so sad.
ReplyDeleteI want to come visit you! Ok... actually I just want to go to the Donna Hay store.
