Where are my needles?

If anyone has seen a set of 4mm circular yellow plastic knitting needles, lost somewhere between Richmond and Berwick, can you please contact me?

This is the latest happening in a series of happenings that have all been of the pooh nature. And not the happy yellow pooh.

After my Brown Owls venture to the Camberwell Market on Sunday I got a parking ticket. This morning I left my shopping at Ikea. And now I have lost my needles.

It's not that I am short of needles, I do seem to have quite a growing bunch, but I hate losing things. Once, when I was little, I saw a tv show where a little boy found a room where all the lost things were kept. I have a few things there that I would like back. A pink sweatshirt with a Koala on it that my nana gave me for Christmas when I was seven. I left that on a swing at elementary school and some sneaky snick stole it. Or I left it elsewhere.

The needles were for a hat that I am going to make for my husband. My husband is fond of wearing a hideous beastly blue toque that has gone missing. Don't alert the authorities as they might have a good look and find it in my sock drawer. I was going to knit a hat on a set of circular needles as I haven't used any before, but there is no time to waste - I am going to get started right now because I hear that it is going to be chilly tomorrow morning and I can't risk a hat search party.

PS - Bronwyn, I found some sushi buttons:

  1. Hi Kim - bummer about the parking ticket! Thanks for the sushi button link - are they made and sold by someone? I love it when bloggy people help each other out - even when we met for like 15 secs! Did you get anything else at the Market (apart from a bill)?
