I have decided that I need to do some reading.
My mother-in-law gave me a great book for Christmas. It's a reading journal, but interspersed between journal pages are lists of great books of the last 50 or so years. There are lists of the great literary prize winner of the past 50 years. Man Booker, Miles Franklin, Pulitzer, etc...
I think that I should start a bookclub and that you should join in too.
Seeing as I know exactly who reads this and that they might indeed be medium/large bookreaders - I declare this bookclub started.
The first book is The Shipping News.
Who Dunnit and Sandy Ohhh.... this means you. I might even pop out and get you a copy...
Bookclubs are cool, I'm in one. I haven't been to any of the meetings but my friends go and say they're great. It's a good way of ensuring I'm reading at least one book a month (she who desperately misses reading but can't seem to pick a book up these days let alone finish one...)
