Super short post, but I feel like Queen of all the Parents, so I need to share my win. I should probably say that I might have been Queen of the Parents for that one moment. Today I am dealing with a very tired child who decided that it was a good decision to watch youtube lego videos at 2am. Not happy Jan! He and I are both not happy.
Back to me and being Queen. I made a photo scavenger hunt to keep the kids happy while my mom and her beautiful friend took the trolls, err kids, to the zoo.
My mom and Val said that it worked a treat, so I feel there must be kindred spirits out there who could share the joy that is sending children spending the day with someone else AND said children were described as SO happy and well behaved.
I made a list of things to take photos of. Things on the way to the zoo, like yellow cars. Things that did not belong at the zoo. At the end there was a secret pocket to rip open containing an invisible pen where they could discover the bonus photo finds that earned them a treat from Grandma. They didn't know about the treat before hand. Neither did I.
