Matt is sleeping on the couch. I'm sure that he's pretending to be sleeping because he doesn't want to put the cover on the doona (or duvet if it takes your fancy). I think that he thinks (that I think that he thinks...) I change the sheets and forget to put the fresh sheets on purposefully. But I don't I just forget. It's one of our things. He makes the biggest face if he sees that I have forgotten and it looks like he will have to do it. And then I make an even more huge face (I'm good at crazy faces!) because he's made a face. And truth be told - and don't tell Matt - I have actually pretended to be asleep on the couch so that he would put the sheets on. And I had to pretend for AGES because he was watching some crazy kung fu movie. Shhhh!
So much has been happening around here lately. Ben has started "new kinder" and he is loving it. He has two beautiful teachers Jenny and Carol (Ben calls her Cathrol - I think it's a mix of his "old kinder" teacher Cathy and Carol - it's cute) and there is also a blue-tongued lizard called Izzie. Izzie likes snails and Ben brought along quite a few snails on his first day. I'm not sure how many snails a lizard eats per day and how many kids bring snails, but Ben is going to be a regular supplier of snails because he loves Izzie. He hasn't actually gotten up the courage to touch Izzie yet, but I get an blow by blow replay of Izzie's day from Ben when I pick him up (today she got to come out and she ate a snail and she has a tongue that does this...). He seems really happy so I'm happy too.
Thomas is HUGE. And so beautiful. At the moment he has taken to looking at me, scrunching up his face, smiling and sort of snorting - all together. It's really cute. He has one word for everything - it's kind of like nn-ga. Nn-ga - I want that. Nn-ga - pick me up. Nn-ga - I want that now...
The Lego convention (!) with his favourite sunnies on:
I love this photo:
On his way to Lego convention and reading a Lego book:

Fantastic photos Kim. I love that one of Matt and Thomas too. Glad to hear lego is still popular! Love hearing that other people find it annoying to put the duvet cover on and change sheets. When we really need to do this I leave the clean dry ones on the bed and then we both ignore it until it's time for bed and we are forced to do it together. We have on occasion gone to bed with no cover on the duvet.
